Italy coach Roberto Mancini admits that the red card has changed the team’s game.

The Azzurri lost 2-1 to Spain in the Nations League semi-final at the San Siro Stadium on Wednesday. This caused the Euro 2020 champions to miss the chance to reach the final for the second time in a row.
“In a game like this, some moments can change the game. The first half should have easily ended with a score of 1-1,” the Italian coach told Rai Sport.
“Obviously, Spain kept the ball well, but it was disappointing to lose like that, down to 10 players.
“To be honest, I didn’t see the second yellow card. But that’s not the point. Leo (Nardo Bonucci) shouldn’t have caused himself to be yellow carded on both occasions.
“Playing games like this To score more goals and not concede more goals in the remaining 10 men is a good result.”
